Twenty-five years after the original record, Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie plan to release their world anthem "We Are The World". The song was produced by Jones in 1985 featuring artist such as Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen & Cyndi Lauper.
With the 25th anniversary around the corner with remake was already scheduled to be recorded and sold as an anniversary edition, but with the recent disaster in Haiti Quincy Jones has actually decided to call up all the big names in music and record it as a Haiti benefit sequel.
So far the line-up includes Usher, Beyonce, John Legend, Natalie Cole, Wyclef Jean, Sting, Fergie, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake & Lady Gaga.
The performance is set for January 28th.
