Christina gets hot, sexy and unoriginal for new video


So last night the sexy/raunchy turnt '60s pin-up girl Christina Aguilera released her new video for "Not Myself Tonight". The 29 year old singer/MOTHER hasn't been on the scene for a while but she's back with a new project in the works set to release June 8 entitle "Bionic" etc...

Okay now that that's out of the way lets get to the other stuff...

So the video released last night around midnight, I personally couldn't wait to see what type of sexiness the "Genie in a bottle" would bring to my computer screen. However that wasn't the case, in the first 30 seconds alone I was given nothing less than a collage of all of Lady Gaga's videos put in one!

I mean, we all love Christina and it's clear she paved the way for some of the artist out today, but lets be honest, when have we ever seen Christina take it this far? If you ask me Christina has just been away studying the whole "BeyGaga" movement because that's all I got from the video. At this point it's not even about who was here first or who looks or sings better, it's about who's doing who and clearly Gaga has all these chicks switching up their style.

I was excited for her return but now that I see even she has jumped on the "Let's Jack Gaga" badwagon I may have some re-thinking to do...

And Akon who actually signed Gaga to his label had a few words to say also

Here's what he told VIBE:

“I miss the old Christina Aguilera. I like the old one better than the new one. Honestly, Gaga and Christina could probably get together and do something that’s amazing. But that’s impossible if they are both trying to do the same exact thing musically … I just think [Aguilera] just needs to believe in herself more. I think sometimes she gets insecure because of all of the success Gaga has had not realizing that she was already successful before Gaga came out.”

NICKI MINAJ TO TOUR WITH GAGA?

Not even a week after being announced as being apart of Rihanna's "Last Girl On Earth" tour with Ke$ha and DECLINING the "invite" sources are now saying that Ms. Minaj herself is planning to tour with Pop sensation Lady Gaga.

Not sure of how much truth there is to these rumors, but that would definitely be an interesting situation being that they are both over the top, not only with their music but with their oddly fascinating sense of style. However it would make sense being that Nicki recently fired Waka Flocka’s mom Debbie Antney as her manager and has since seeked to recruit Lady Gaga’s manager, Troy Carter.

But wait... didn't Nicki first say that her reason for declining Rihanna was because she didn't have enough material and wanted to continue on finishing up her album? If she does happen to go on tour with Gaga I'm sure alot of people will assume that there's another reason for her saying no to the Rihanna tour. Interesting...

This whole situation seems inconsistent, but --- WE SHALL SEE!

KELIS'S "FLESH TONE" ALBUM COVER

So here it goes... What we all (or most of us) have been waiting for, the official Kelis comeback album cover.

Released today, the "Bossy" singer shines in a very "black to the future" / Grace Jones get-up for her new "Flesh Tone" album cover shot by photographer John “Rankin” Waddell, who she also worked with on the “Acapella” video.

--- Love the concept of the cover it's very different, and very "Kelis" as expected, also interested to see where she's going to to go with this album.

The album Flesh Tone is set to release July 6.


So far the tracklist include:

"Carefree American" (produced by Jean Baptiste)

DRAKE DENIES COLLABING WITH OLIVIA

Just the other day the new joint "Control" from G-Units former main girl Olivia hit the net, the songs been getting quite good feedback seeing that she's been away for minute and back teaming up with raps biggest name at the moment. However Drake denies ever even working with her...

Here's a statement that Drake's PR team released earlier this morning

Drake said:

“I support artist collaborations and sampling music that inspires you but I don’t support taking unauthorized recordings and marketing them as features. I’ve never worked with Olivia and I apologize to any fan who was duped into thinking that Control was a collaboration of mine.”

This is just a mess, and very bold of them to think they'd get away with an unauthorized feature from one of the hottest rappers.

"Olivia never said she worked with Drake, Although we do think Drake is an incredible artist the record was sent to us the same way it was presented. The record is on a mixtape and is not on the album. This was stated from the beginning. The record was leaked and never officially released."

CIARA SPEAKS ON NEW ALBUM

The recently spotted Ciara took time out while hitting the red carpet
of the Death At A Funeral movie premiere last night in Hollywood to dish what's going on with her new album, which I think is safe to say "highly anticipated" being that everyone wants to see how she can recover from the not-so unsuccessful "Fantasy Ride". The album is also said to be produced by Tricky Stewart, under the watchful eye of hit-maker The Dream.

Here's what she had to say:


Sounds pretty dope, maybe the more "sensual" side works better for her as apposed to the "fantasy" side. "Basic Instinct" is the name of the album, which we already guessed when she shot the video in ATL last week for "You Got Me (Basic Instinct)" which wasn't said to be released as a single, so it'll interesting to see what she does with that.

Also with alot of confusion on her single "Ride" ft. Ludacris - according to her sites the song doesn't go digital until the 27th however some stations are playing it today, tomorrow, next week, etc... But in case you missed it check out the recently leaked 30sec snippet

Raps female hannibal Nicki Minaj pulls out of "Last Girl On Earth" Tour.



Just a couple of days after Rihanna announces the line-up and tour dates for her North American tour "Last Girl On Earth" with Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj fans are sad to find out that Minaj has politely pulled herself from the tour today, here's what she said via Twitter...

Barbz I'm sorry 2 say I will not be going out on RiRi's tour. I've decided 2 use that time 4 the completion of my album. Hope u understand.

I understand Minaj is working on finishing up an album (finally), but touring with two pretty big pop stars (at the moment) would have been a great way to promote her music and even broaden her fanbase on a more mainstream level. But hey I guess Young Money comes first!

Disney star/Cheetah Girl Kiely Williams (formally of 3LW) takes time out to respond on her very "over-the-top" music video "Spectacular" which has been causing alot of controversy and "side-eyeing" due to her having such a young fanbase as one of Disney's leading role models.


Here's more of what the singer/actor had to say...

I am an actor and performer. I have been so since my first role in a television pilot at five years old. I played a character when I was a “Cheetah Girl.” I am playing a character in the music video
for the song “Spectacular,” as I did in the “Cheetah Girl” movies. The fact is, that sometimes women get intoxicated and have unprotected sex. My video puts this issue front and center. It is absurd to infer or suggest that I am condoning this behavior. Are Lady Gaga and Beyonce advocating murder with the “Telephone” video? Of, course not. Was Rihanna encouraging suicide with “Russian Roulette?” No. Was Madonna suggesting that young unmarried girls get pregnant with “Papa Don’t Preach?” I don’t think so. Is Academy Award winner Monique a proponent of incest because of her portrayal of Mary in the movie “Precious.” Clearly, the answer is no. I wrote “Spectacular” and made the video to bring attention to a serious women’s health and safety issue. Don’t shoot the messenger.
